Landscape Paintings
An important
aspect of the work of Leo Neufeld are his landscape paintings. These
paitings are not created from photographs but rather in the plein
aire tradition of the Old Masters. Over months Leo will often hike
to the location, canvas and oils in tow, in order to capture the essence
of the beauty that he observes in nature. Many of these paintings were
created in New Mexico, but several are from the Midwest. |
